ModelCon 419 this weekend brought best in class awards for two of CAMS’ own.

All four members who attended took one of the top three spots in at least one of the classes they entered.

For Henry, his Best Miscellaneous was not only his first best of, it was among his first awards in an IPMS contest. His Stag Beetle Biopunk was first in the class, and the source of his best of, and his Rhinoceros Beetle Biopunk was third.

Bill Hensler got his Best Ship on his 1/350 USS Arizona, which had been skunked at its prior competition. He also placed with his 1/700 Prinz Eugen and his HMS Campletown.

Steve Harvey first (of one) in the armor out of box category for his German E 100 heavy tank and second in armor diorama for Marder III Ausf.H.

Chris Klaver was third in automotive out of box for his Mercedes SSK Sportswagen.
