CAMS member Brad Shafer corrected all the issues that had shut him out of the hardware at the 2024 Nationals to bring home Best in Show at the 2025 4M Mayhem with his F-4C Phantom.

The 1/32 scale Tamiya kit, with lots of extras, was designed to replicate a plane that flew during Vietnam. Brad’s display included a book documenting the original plane as well as all his work to copy it.

In addition to Brad’s top award, Brian Daly took best in class for his Vietnam green beret figure. Mid-Michigan Model Makers used the IPMS gold/silver/bronze judging system, so CAMS members brought home a stack of other awards.
