Chris Long and Chris Klaver brought CAMS to the Region 5 regionals sponsored by IPMS Butch O’Hare and came back with seven bronze awards between them.
The show included 375 registered entries by 120 modelers, all judged with the IPMS gold-silver-bronze standards (as opposed to first-second-third for each category).
Chris Long took six bronzes among his 10 entries in the automotive and Gundam categories. Chris Klaver was awarded for his one Gundam entry.
CAMS also made its presence known with a club table, one of two in the event’s tiger meet. IPMS/CARS in Miniature of Northern Illinois had a display (and lamented in its newsletter there were not more).
